 N-LIST

Henry Baker College is registered for the N-LIST programme, which is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the National Mission on Education through ICT. The N-LIST project provides access to e-resources to students, researchers and faculty from colleges and other beneficiary institutions through server(s) installed at the college INFLIBNET Centre. The authorized users from college can access e-resources and download articles required by them directly from the publisher’s website once they are duly authenticated as authorized users through servers deployed at the INFLIBNET Centre.

♦ DELNET / Inter Library Loan

To facilitate efficient and effective searching of information through the various online database and union catalogue, Library  has taken one year membership of Developing Library Network (DELNET), J.N.U Campus, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj,New Delhi.

DELNET has launched a new discovery portal for member libraries. Through this portal users can access Research Articles,e-books,e-journals, Thesis, Books and millions of bibliographic records.

DELNET provides the delivery of individual books as and when required by member libraries and photocopies of articles published in India and abroad through the Inter Library Loan/Document Delivery Services.

 National Digital Library of India

The National Digital library of India is a project under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, India. The objective is to collect and collate metadata and provide full text index from several national and international digital libraries, as well as other relevant sources. NDLI has been developed by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. It is single window platform that collects resources from premier learning institutions in India and abroad and other relevant sources. It is open to all at free of cost.Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) has initiated the National Digital Library of India (NDL India) pilot project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find out the right resource with least effort and in minimum time.

Access to a great variety of English literature and language resources, children’s books, self-help guides and international magazines, along with an elaborate digital library of popular e-magazines, journals, books, audio books, games, B-school resources and more, available 24x7!
